Biografie
José Nunes studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Nobuko Imai and Francien Schatborn. He moved to Amsterdam after completing his studies in ARTAVE (Professional Music School in Portugal) with distinction under the guidance of António Pereira and Teresa Correia. José has played in many orchestra such as Portuguese Youth Orchestra, Artave Orchestra and Aproarte Orchestra. In his life as a musician , José won some prizes in competotions such as the second prize on the “Concurso de Violeta Ourem-Fátima and the first prize on the “Concurso Paços Premium”. He has been playing solo recitals in prestigious halls in Portugal and in 2015 played the William Walton concerto for viola and orchestra in Porto with the ARTAVE orchestra.
