Biografie

Joanna Rotberg was born in 1995 in Poland. She started piano studies at age of 6 and she graduated cum laude from 1st Private School of Music in 2012, at age of 17, from piano class of prominent Polish pianist and teacher prof. Marek Mizera. In the very same year she joined the piano class of prof. Eugen Indjic in Schola Cantorum in Paris, becoming the youngest disciple of this internationally known pianist. Four years later, in 2016, she obtained her Diplome Superieur with mark Tres Bien a l’Unanimite avec Felicitations du Jury.

Since 2016 she continues her studies in Conservatorium van Amsterdam in class of prof. Frank Peters. Along with this formal education, between 2012 and 2016 she took private lessons with prof. Peter Feuchtwanger. She also took part in masterclasses held by prof. Barbara Hesse-Bukowska, Mikhail Voskresensky and Olga Pashchenko.

Joanna is winner of numerous international piano competitions, like Chopin Competition for Youth in Szafarnia (Poland), Miłosz Magin International Piano Competition (Paris) and Skriabin Competition in Russian Conservatory in Paris. She actively performs both as a soloist and as a chamber musician, cooperating with musicians from all around the globe.
